Upcoming channels

Deputy currently runs over SMS and email. More channels are coming soon.

Gmail integration

Connect your existing Gmail inbox so Deputy can read, draft, and manage your email on your behalf — following up on threads, handling routine replies, and keeping your inbox under control.

Slack

Use Deputy directly inside Slack — send messages to a dedicated Deputy bot and get responses in the same thread. Useful for teams that live in Slack and want to interact with Deputy without switching to SMS.

WhatsApp

For users outside the US or who prefer WhatsApp as their primary messaging app. Deputy over WhatsApp will work the same way as SMS — just through the WhatsApp interface instead.

Why SMS first?

SMS is the most universal channel available. Every phone supports it, there's no app to install, no account to create on a third-party platform, and no notification settings to configure. It works the same way on a 5-year-old Android as it does on the latest iPhone.

For most daily use cases — quick requests, scheduling, drafting, reminders — SMS covers everything. It also means Deputy is available wherever you have cell service, not just where you have a data connection or a specific app installed.

Your data carries over

When new channels launch, your persistent memory will transfer. You won't need to re-train Deputy or re-explain your preferences. The context it has built from your SMS conversations will carry over to whatever channel you switch to.
