Calendar management
Coming soonCheck, schedule, and manage your calendar over text — no app switching, no logging in.
What you can ask
Deputy understands natural language, so you don't need to remember any commands. Examples of what you can ask:
- →"What does my week look like?"
- →"Am I free Thursday afternoon?"
- →"Schedule a call with Sarah next Tuesday at 2pm."
- →"Move my 10am tomorrow to Wednesday."
- →"Block an hour Friday morning for focused work."
- →"Cancel my 3pm today."
- →"When's my next meeting with the team?"
How it works
Deputy connects to your calendar during setup. Once connected, it reads and writes events on your behalf in response to your messages.
You don't need to specify dates in a particular format. Deputy interprets natural language expressions like "next Thursday," "end of the week," "in two hours," and "sometime Tuesday afternoon" and resolves them against your actual calendar.
Scheduling on your behalf
Deputy can coordinate scheduling, not just read your availability. If you ask it to set up a meeting, it will check your calendar for open slots and create the event. Pair this with email drafting to send an invite in the same message thread — for example: "Schedule a 30-minute intro call with Marcus next week and draft him an email with the details."
Recurring events
You can ask Deputy to set up recurring events in plain language: "Add a weekly team standup every Monday at 9am." For more complex recurring patterns — like automated reminders or scheduled digests that reference your calendar — see Scheduled & Recurring Tasks.
