   Enter your phone number — this is the number you'll use to text Deputy.

   Fund your account — Deputy is pay-as-you-go. Add a small amount to get started. You only pay when Deputy does work for you. See how pricing works

   Send your first message — Deputy will text you a confirmation. Reply to it and you're live.

What happens next

You'll get your first SMS after you sign up with your phone number. After you exchange introductions and name your agent, it will be assigned its own email address for handling other tasks and communications. You don't need to configure anything to get started — just text naturally and Deputy will figure out what you need.

Over time, Deputy builds a picture of your preferences through persistent memory, so it gets more useful the more you use it.
